What is preschool?

Kindergarten: means a preschool educational institution that accepts children from three to six years old.

Preschool: is a facility that combines a nursery and a kindergarten, accepting children from three months old to six years old.

National standard kindergartens and preschools are establishments that achieve standards according to current regulations.

  • National standard level 1 school: A school that meets the necessary standards of a national standard preschool to ensure the organization of comprehensive quality child care and education activities in line with the educational objectives. preschool education.
  • National standard level 2: A school that meets the necessary standards of a national standard preschool to ensure the organization of comprehensive quality child care and education activities at a higher level. level 1, creating conditions to access the development level of preschools in advanced countries in the region and in the world.

Type:

Kindergarten’s physical conditions

Pursuant to Article 5 of Circular No. 13/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating the location, scale and area as follows:

Location:

To request the location of the school, the school site in accordance with the local educational development planning. Scale:

Kindergarten has a minimum size of 09 groups and classes and a maximum of 20 groups and classes. For schools in disadvantaged communes, there must be at least 05 groups and classes.

Area of ​​land for construction of schools and schools:

Determined on the basis of the number of groups, classes, and children with an average of at least 12 square meters per child. For mountainous urban areas, the central areas of urban centers have limited land fund. A minimum of 10m2 is allowed per child.

Norm of floor area for construction of work items:

The minimum facilities standards of preschools are specified in Article 6 of Circular 13/2020/TT-BGDĐT.
