Conditions of travel service business
Foreigners who want to do business in travel services in Vietnam must ensure that the enterprise they contribute capital has the following conditions:
- Being an enterprise established in accordance with the law on enterprises;
- Deposit for international travel service business at the bank;
- The person in charge of the travel service business must have a college degree or higher, majoring in travel;
- If you graduate from a college or higher in another major, you must have an international tourism management certificate.
Procedure for applying for a travel permit
Step 1: Submit your application
Enterprises applying for an international travel service business license shall submit 1 set of documents to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. Records include:
- An application form for an international travel service business license, made according to the form;
- Certified copy of Business Registration Certificate; or Investment registration certificate issued by a competent state agency.
- Certificate of deposit for travel service business.
- Certified copy of diploma or certificate of person in charge of travel service business.
- Certified copy of the appointment decision; or a labor contract between the travel service business enterprise and the person in charge of the travel service business.
Step 2: Get the result

Secondly, provide information about tourist programs, services and destinations to tourists;
Thirdly, obey, disseminate and guide tourists to comply with the laws and regulations of the tourist destination behave in a civilized manner, respecting the cultural identity, customs and practices of Vietnam and the tourist destination coordinate with competent state agencies to promptly handle illegal acts of tourists during their participation in the tour program and implement reporting, statistical, accounting and record keeping regimes;
Fourthly, apply measures to ensure the safety of life, health and property of tourists; promptly notify competent state agencies of accidents and risks occurring to tourists and take remedial measures;
Lastly, ensure the maintenance of conditions for business travel services according to regulations; publicize the name of the enterprise, the license number of the travel service business on the signboard at the head office, branch or transaction office; in the travel contract; in publications and in electronic transactions.
