Step 3: Competent authority to handle the application

Competent agencies will process the application, evaluate and verify the conditions of the applicant for a criminal record card.

Note: In case the person requested for issuance of a criminal record card is a Vietnamese citizen who has resided in many places or has a period of residence abroad, a foreigner, the case must be verified for natural conditions. If the criminal record expunged, the time limit shall not exceed 15 days.

Step 4: Return the result
