Prepare the following set of dossiers and bring them to the Consular Department – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam at 40 Tran Phu, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, or the Department of Foreign Affairs at 6 Alexandre de Rhodes, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to apply for a consular legalization stamp:

  • Firstly, the Application form for consular certification/legalization: Apply for certification at the Consular Department in Hanoi, or apply for certification at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Original and valid ID card as well as Passport;
  • Also, the original and a copy of the marriage certificate, which consular certified in step 1;
  • Other relevant papers and documents upon specific request.
